every post I make gets deleted....no matter which of the 14 names I use to make them?...and even in other states I get deleted

Well Like we said keep messing with us! We planned to launch the site after Morel season. But They pushed me too far I don't talk BS. I meant it this is America not Cuba or Iran. Deleting post and such is not American IMO! We all pay taxes some have served our country we deserve more respect than we got! Even when some posed and tried to contact the powers that be! We got deleted or shut out! We didn't start this to compete with morel.com or any other sites. But to blow them out of the water! Most really don't grasp the true nature of the Hunter gathers here! Like Misfit Island here we are to STAY!

Well The Missouri board were most of us hail from. Was always busy not like the other boards on M.com. Which only got active towards March, April and May. Most of us hunt Mushrooms all year many types not just morels! Many of us also hunt rocks,bugs and many other things of interest. The Censorship of the site is the main problem. Plus the lack of any reasonable communication with its operators! The site is money driven we with ads! So we made this please feel free to add any ideas you may have to make this site better! Or something we might add. Please let us know and thank you for being here!

I appreciate having a new place to go. One thing you might want to add is soil temps as they progress from the south to the north. I watch all these sites for posts, weather, and soil temps to know the exact time to start looking.

I see you're being ornery on the new site. A couple more weeks and we should be comparing notes on the "moo-rels". Who knows, maybe I'll find my first red this year (and sample it). I scouted a spot on the Meramec about 20 minutes from here. It looks really morel-ly, but it might be a waste of time--we'll see.

I guess I got blacklisted before even posting as I tried to post one saying the season is only a few weeks off, just to test the water and it still hasn't made it two days later. Guess I somehow got lumped in w/ all y'all.

Good to see all the old friends here. The Morel.com site is left with all the littering bums that just show up around this time of year and question finds and hauls of all you talented folk out there. Actually I didn't post all winter and feel bad about that.

I too have been trying to post on the MO board and no posts are getting in.
At first I thought it was because I mentioned this site in my post but then I just had a simple post answering a question and they never displayed it either.
What is weird is that I can post on other boards over there.
Not a helpful site anyway, that place...!
But it will be interesting for me to go try and post on the GA board and see if it post's or not ! That way we will know if there's a "catch" linked to anyone who now inhabits this great site !

Its weird that they are blocking you all. I haven't been able to post on thier site for a few days now. Are they blocking everyone from this site? Because the day after I signed up here I couldn't post over there. Not that it was a great site anyway, but I've been wondering why my posts weren't going through. Thought something was wrong with my machine or the server.
yes they suffer from "little morel syndrom" dont rlly matter. anyone who has any knoweledge of Morels in Missouri has all the info/postings/fins report that anyone would need..these are all very relibal morel huners..and the season has not even started really yet..so hang on traffic here will be hot and heavy real soon

it appears they have a bug up their ass about Moo-sery
for those that dont know...
several people used their site for over a year ....to discuss mycology, archeology, fishing and at times....just chat with each other
No one ever said that we could not use it...or told us to stop.
But they did start deleting various post's back in early March.
That turned into some heated complaints ....which were also deleted.
Now missourians are being chastised ....by the owner or moderator....
who never had the balls to just ask us to cool it during Morel season
Where I come from, iffin's you cross someone like that you might wake up with a mean fightin' cock hiding in your mail box, silently waiting to destroy the first person to go looking for their junk mail.
Actually I'm totally out of the loop regarding the shenanigans on the MO board. Just what did happen to start the ban-fest? What kind of posts were being deleted? Was a reason ever given?
They are holding posts pending approval by a moderator, then approving what the deem fit for post. This is most likley due to people posting tons of links to this site. If they actually are banning people just because they also post here you could always post under another name or just don't go there any more.. For a site that is add driven for profit driving off 60% of your hits can't be good for business.
It's bad luck to pick the first morel you find. Leave it there for me!

All I know is if you have a problem with me, email me! Let me know! I'm pretty sure we all would have put up with it if it was just us, problem with that is all the regs are very protective of each other---IMO! More than once I have shrugged off a rude comment from somebody, only to find out other regs had my back, and likewise. I say good riddens to a useless site like that!....Luckily Kawryan and King were close enough to get this one opened up....my hats off to you gentleman! They really saved our arses! What would we have done if the only place to go was the other place??? By the time we posted we found one, the season would have been over!

Yeah I don't think they are actually banning people from the MO board over at morels.com (except for maybe a few of you key "instigators", but they are for sure moderating. You can tell because normally that board would have like 150 posts a day this time of year. Now you see no new ones until the moderator gets off his @$$ and lets through a big batch of them, which he/she doesn't seem to be doing all that often.
Too bad they had to take the low road on this one. But if their stupidity was partially to blame for you guys starting this one, then it is a blessing in disguise. I much prefer this site.
I have quietly watched the other board (so as to not get booted). It really is a lame site compared to this one. Not only are the over-moderating the board, but every once in awhile someone will get on there and say "where did everyone go?" I just laugh to myself.
Will someone please hit my karma so I can get off -1 before the season gets going? I really need all the karma when hunting since I haven't been in a few decades (not counting last year when I found 2). I promise no more comments about KU.

I'm not proud of myself for the way I reacted to the moderating, but like I said before, if it was due to negative posting or something crude, that would have been different. We obviously found out they did not like us showing compassion to each other nor are they members of the NRA! All in all it still makes me laugh. You cannot even compare this site to the old one because they are not even in the same league! This site rocks!
Morelchef2--When my "friend" would post he would type in MorelHunters.com in the name, city, and subject then click on the submit button repeaditly so to cover the whole page....I think that was when "he" got the boot officially
