Subject: Identification help - by: higbiej5950

Hello all,

A lot of users on here are quite knowledgeable about several different kinds of edible mushrooms, and I'm seeking help identifying something I found last year. I believe it could be chicken of the woods, but I was hoping I could get someone else's opinion as to what this is.

Subject: Pick em or leave em? How fast do they grow? - by: Cheddar

Just wondering what you all would do finding a big patch of tiny morels? I found a bunch but they are teeny tiny. There were a few that I felt were big enough to pick but left the others. It's a fairly secluded spot that I don't think anyone else hunts there so I was gonna go back and check in a few days to see if they get big enough to pick. Temps here have been in the high 60's with sun and rain on and off. Looks like it might freeze Saturday. How long do you think it will take for them to grow?

Subject: Poison Ivy and Insect bite relief - by: shroomseeker

Since I've been seeing the poison ivy already rearing it's ulgy mug, I thought I'd share a tip on the best relief I've found. After suffering through every over the counter itch relief last season for over a month, I asked the pharmacist at KINGs pharmacy off 6th St. in Lawrence Ks. for his recommendation.
They make up this concoction there called "Echinacea HC Gel"....I swear this is a wonder drug and within a few days of using it my poison ivy cleared up. Cannot recommend this stuff enough, and it works for all kinds of bug bites as well.
Here is a link to their website, for folks out of town: www.king-rx.com/
